Weekend Recap

This Weekend went down like this....

We Finally finished up the paint job in the living room...why is picking the perfect color so difficult? Seriously I can pretty much school you on all the shades of gray. Don't you dare say "it's just gray" NO! I'm really trying to get over this I want everything white mood that I've been in for the past 4 years. So, the next best thing is a barely there, almost white gray.... don't get me started. I'm pretty sure we'd be able to paint your entire house with all the samples of gray that I tried out. Hit me up!
Next up was fun, fun with friends. Neighborhood friends in the pool all day everyday... I think I should start charging a fee... we would totally use it towards our way into the trampoline place. I seriously feel like we should get some type of valued customer membership from there. Chick-fil-a gives me the VIP service why can't they?
And of course leave it to this mom to wait till the last darn minute to go sax shopping for my soon to be middle schooler.... who starts band camp TOMORROW!
We ended it with the lamest movie night ever (Batman lego Movie) I hate the lego movies!!! And all the legos that cover the kitchen counters. I'm pretty much over legos as much as I'm over gray. Except the barely there gray on my walls ;)
So here's to a wonderful week and keeping in touch with the family through snapchat. Because obviously there is no other way to communicate with those you love most. 

Our heart belongs to Colorado....

Guess who is finally uploading all our Colorado vacay pics.....yup, FINALLY! It's kinda ridiculous how many pics we take, and how many different devices we have pics on. So worth every one though! I'm totally cheating on uploading these here. I already had all these saved so this saved me from going through a trillion pics and contemplating which I would upload. I hate that! Anyways, we camped, we hotel-ed and we cabin-ed. Lots of hiking and just enjoyed quality family time. There was fishing and off-road trailing.... so much and I'm totally tearing up wishing we could just rewind and go back....

You love your bed & your bed only which made vacationing quite an adventure this year
You still don't walk which makes you about 3 months behind from where your bros were at around your age, but hey, who's judging ;)
You say bub, Ta-in, Ban-a, dada, mama, suga, nigh-nigh, pa-pa. 
You love giving hugs
You are a big scaredy-cat
And your high pitch scream is something we continue to work on

Wow, it's been a very long time little ole' blog. 

Let's catch up... 

This is Brody.... he will turn the BIG O-N-E in 11 days. He is my baby, oh how I love him so. He's our little blessing.  One that felt impossible. I'm so very thankful for you Brody. Thankful for helping me find hope again. Thankful for believing that beautiful blessings are possible. Thankful knowing that my prayers did not go unheard.
