DIY Hydrating face mask

Hey, Hey! So I tried this easy hydrating face mask and wanted to share with you guys & gals!
Here's what you need...
1\2 an Avocado
1 teaspoon of aloe vera
1 teaspoon of olive oil
mix all together till smooth, slap it on your face & leave for about 10 mins! Then wash off with warm water.
That's seriously it. So easy & leaves your face so smooth and good feeling. The only negative is you'll be craving guac ;)

I obviously can't do anything lately without one of these little humans wanting to participate. Brody thought it was too scary & said he hates it... Brody hates everything what's new?
And the teenager thought it was lame and just asked me to make guac! Told ya!

Tiktok whipped iced coffee recipe

Well guys I jumped on the bandwagon & tried the viral tiktok whipped coffee recipe...
 & it did not disappoint.

Here's what you need
2 tablespoons HOT water
2 tablespoons instant coffee
2 tablespoons sugar
Milk of your choice
I used almond milk and added ice & a little creamer because I prefer iced coffee :)
Here's what ya do
Mix together water, coffee, sugar
Mix, mix, mix!
I used a hand mixer to make it happen faster (about 3-5 minutes).
Mix until it gets lighter in color and fluffy.
Once it's all mixed add it to your iced milk and Bam! Time to enjoy!

Very simple, cheap & yummy!

Snippets of this & that

Life has completely changed within the last month. Spring break turned into a quarantine due to the coronavirus. We took a little trip to the woods for a camp out and some social distancing. We cut it a little short due to a minor cough Brody caught freaking us out (he's ok). Thankfully we aren't going too crazy... I must admit I'm enjoying all the cuddles and not having to worry about rushing here & there. We are missing our routine & trying to adjust to the new. We are just taking it day by day & giving thanks for our health and praying on the daily. I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

Boys and their sports

And just like that tennis season is over for my middle schooler. He had a great season and I will definitely miss seeing him play. We are looking forward to High school tennis fingers crossed. Talin also wrapped up basketball season! His team placed first in their league! They started off a little rough, but at the end they came out champs! The bond these little guys built is what it's all about💓

Camping out at Enchanted Rock

Hey there old thing! So it's been a few months since I posted on here and decided to play catch up while we are in quarantine & all. Here's to wishing we were back to December 30th 2019. Over the New Years break we went to visit my family in my hometown. We had a big family Christmas get together and then headed to Enchanted Rock for a camp out. My it parents & niece joined in. It was all our first time there and it was pretty amazing even though it got down to 20 degrees!!! My poor parents & niece ended up moving to the truck in the middle of the night. It was quite and adventure (one we will not forget)
We then met up with my sister and her family and did a little exploring in the beautiful Fredericksburg Texas. We then ended it with celebrating New Years back in the hometown with all the family.
